3 women die of food poisoning
Hubli, January 18
Three women of a family died of suspected food poisoning at Gudugur village in Haveri district of Karnataka on Wednesday. According to delayed reports received here, the women had consumed liquor and non-vegetarian food at a fair at the village around 8 p.m. Within half-an-hour, they collapsed and died. The police said it was difficult to confirm whether they died due to spurious liquor or food poisoning. UNI
