Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are Himachal Pradesh: Una 4 and Kasauli and Kangra 1 each, east Rajasthan: Ajmer 4 and Banswara 1, west Rajasthan: Jaisalmer 4 and Uttaranchal: Dehradun and Hardwar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 14: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
