Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: New Delhi (Palam) 2, Haryana: Hissar 8, Guhla and Rewari 4 each, Naraingarh 3, and Pehowa 2 Himachal Pradesh: Kothkhai and Rohru 4 each and Rampur Bushar and Sangrah 1 each, Punjab: Halwara 8, East Rajasthan: Pilani 2, West Rajasthan: Churu and Jodhpur 2 each and Bikaner 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Ayodha, Allahabad and Chhatnag 5 each, Basti and Regoli 4 each, Mukhlispur and Turtipar 3 each, Bansi and Kakarhi 2 each, Birdghat and Varanasi 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 5 and Agra 3 and Uttaranchal: Bausan and Nawgaon 7 each, Haripur 5, Joshimath, Marora, Tehri and Uttarkashi 1 each.
