Sikkim cut off

Sikkim and the hill town of Kalimpong were cut off from the rest of the country following the rain-triggered landslide at Lohapool on NH 31A, about 40 km from here last night, officials said here today. Though no loss of life was reported the Darjeeling district administration feared that more landslips would take place if the heavy rain persisted. PTI
