Monsoon has been active in Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Chhachhrauli 3 and Kaithal 1, Himachal Pradesh: Baijnath and Kangra 5 each, Guler 4, Nagrotasurian 2 and Kahu 1, Uttar Pradesh: Mohana 3 and Banda, Lucknow and Turtipar 1 each, Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 12, Bausan and Haripur 9 each, Nawgaon 3 and Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 8: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
