Thunder activity has occurred at a few/many places in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at many places in Himachal Pradesh, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Light rain has also occurred at a few places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in west Rajasthan.

The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: Haryana: Tohana 3 and Kaithal 2, Himachal Pradesh: Bhang, Dhundi and Solang Nala 2 each and Bhuntar 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar 2. Snowfall report: Himachal Pradesh: Patsio 1 and Jammu and Kashmir: Himmat 4 and Ragani 3.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Forecast valid until the morning of 17th: Rain or snow will occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Rajasthan. Thundersqualls are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 17th: Partly cloudy sky with thundery development and light rain in some areas. No significant change in maximum temperature and will be around 35°C.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
