NEW DELHI, Feb 4 — Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are prevailing in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Cold wave conditions are also prevailing in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. They are likely to continue during the next two days.

NEW DELHI, Feb 4 — Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are prevailing in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Cold wave conditions are also prevailing in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. They are likely to continue during the next two days.

Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Haryana, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in the remaining parts of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.6°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 6: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana and Punjab during the next two night.
