NEW DELHI, Jan 18 — Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in most parts of Uttar Pradesh and in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and north Rajasthan. They are likely to continue during the next two days. Cold wave conditions have abated from Delhi.

NEW DELHI, Jan 18 — Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in most parts of Uttar Pradesh and in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and north Rajasthan. They are likely to continue during the next two days. Cold wave conditions have abated from Delhi.

Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. 

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, below normal in the remaining parts of Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.8°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of 20th: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at a few places in Haryana and Punjab during the next two nights.

Forecast for Delhi & neighbourhood valid until the morning of 20th: Hazy sky. Fog during night and morning. Cold conditions to continue. Minimum temperature will be around 4°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of 20th: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
