Kesri’s condition improving
NEW DELHI, Oct 15 (PTI) — Former Congress President Sitaram Kesri, undergoing treatment with supportive systems at the Intensive Care Unit of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital here for the past two days, is showing signs of improvement following which the ventilator was removed, his family sources said today.

CHHATTARPUR (MP), Oct 15 (PTI) — Samajwadi Party leader in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Ashok Virvikram Singh was arrested by the police yesterday on charges of stealing electricity and committing atrocities on Scheduled Castes by grabbing their land.

3 killed in UP
CHITRAKOOT (UP), Oct 15 (PTI) — Three members of a family were killed by a gang of bandits at Lapaw village in this district last night, the police here said today.

Red alert sounded  in Bihar
PATNA, Oct 15 (UNI) — The Bihar Government has sounded a red alert across the state following the massacre of 11 persons in Siwan district yesterday, State Director-General of Police K.A. Jacob said here today all SPs had been put on maximum alert following the carnage. Mr Jacob said raids were on to nab the culprits.
