Chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Solan 5; Nahan 4; Ambala, Patiala and Shimla 3 each and Chandigarh, Rohtak, Ludhiana, Sunni, Nadaun and Ghamroor 2 each and Hisar, Amritsar, Nangal Dam, Bhuntar, Rampur, Kasol, RL-1700 (Sutlej and Beas catchment area), Guler and Nagrota-Surian one each.

Night temperatures rose largely in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. These were markedly below normal in Himachal and above normal in Haryana and Punjab. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.6°C recorded at Amritsar.
