Yunus made a statement while speaking to Hindu leaders of Bangladesh on occasion of Janmashtami, Dhaka Tribune reported. The statement from Yunus came just a day after PM Modi and US Prez Biden discussed the situation in Bangladesh. PM Modi and US Prez Biden discussed the need to ensure the safety and security of minorities, especially Hindus. Bangladeshi Hindus were allegedly targeted after ex-PM Hasina fled the country following unrest in the country.
