In a heart-warming gesture, a student of first grade from Kerala’s Thrissur donated his piggy bank savings to district collector in order to help the victims of Wayanad landslides. Talking about the same, the student expressed his sadness and said that that’s why he decided to donate his coin box to the disaster-affected people. Further acknowledging the child’s contribution, the district collector called it a good gesture to help the people of Wayanad. the student of first grade said, “When I saw the news about Wayanad landslide, I became very sad. So, I thought about how to help Wayanad and decided to give my coin box to the collector. So, I went to the collector and gave my coin box to the collector.” Acknowledging the child’s contribution, Collector of Thrissur, Arjun Pandian said, “Many people are coming forward with their helping hands in the support of Wayanad disaster affected people. Even the children are coming forward with their savings. This is a very good gesture.
