In a major turn of events, separatist militants attacked vehicles from buses to goods trucks on a major highway and also targeted police stations, railway lines. As per Reuters, on the night of August 25, armed men blocked highway, marched passengers off the vehicles and shot them after checking their identity cards. As Pakistan witnessed it’s one of the deadly attacks, the separatist group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for the latest attacks. The terrorist attack was condemned by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The latest attack follows a similar incident from April this year, where 9 passengers were shot dead after gunmen checked their ID cards. Additionally, in October 2023, unidentified gunmen fatally shot 6 labourers hailing from Punjab in Turbat, in Balochistan’s Kech district. #Balochistan #Pakistan #TerrorAttack
