Zirakpur, January 31

A Zirakpur resident has been arrested for gambling. The police seized Rs 3,500 from him.

The suspect has been identified as Joginder Kumar. He was nabbed in a police raid conducted near lottery bazaar here on Thursday.

The police said following a tip-off, a team conducted a raid near the bazaar where the suspect was found offering money.

The police have registered a case under of the Gambling Act at the Zirakpur police station.
