Vice Chancellor, Professor BR Kamboj said research achievements of the scientists must reach the farmers. The university had developed advanced crop varieties of pearl millet hybrids HHB 67 (improved), HHB 299 with potential to perform well in multiple agro-climatic zones.

After the signing of these agreements, the company will now pay the license fee to the university, under which it will get the right to produce and market the seeds. These varieties developed by the university have more minerals and give a better yield.
