PU Notes: Research awards conferred

Chandigarh, August 3

On behalf of Prem Lata and Professor DVS Jain Research Foundation, the Department of Chemistry organised the 6th Best Research Award Ceremony. Prof Ganga Ram Chaudhary, Department of Chemistry, was conferred Professor DVS Jain Research Award (2020), which includes a citation and Rs 30,000. Prof Navneet Kaur, from the same department, was presented with Smt Prem Lata Jain Research Award (2020), which includes a citation and Rs 15,000.

Academic session starts

The academic session 2022-23 of University Business School has commenced. Prof Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, in his presidential address, welcomed the guests and MBA students to the university campus. He shared new opportunities for the management students in marketing and management applications.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

As a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Department of Life Long Learning and Extension, in collaboration with the Centre for Social Work and the horticulture wing, celebrated Vanmahotsav. A plantation drive was carried out on the premises of Emerging Area Building.
