Amritsar: As many as 179 devotees stranded in Hazoor Sahib returned to Amritsar in the wee hours on Tuesday. SDM Vikas Hira said nine buses brought back the stranded devotees, who were screened for the symptoms of Covid-19 at a dispensary in Chheharta here. He said as per their medical examination, the passengers were healthy and sent to their homes, but they were advised to stay at home for 14 days. He said around 80 buses were sent to Hazoor Sahib on the directions of CM Capt Amarinder Singh to bring back the devotees who were stranded there since curfew restrictions were imposed in Punjab to check the coronavirus spread.
