A perennial nullah which passes from west to north through many colonies in Ambala City, including rear side of Oriental Bank of Commerce at Manav Chowk is adding to the residents’ woes. Debris and unused materials get stuck at the site resulting in blockage. Stray cattle menace too is rampant around this area which can be seen hovering adding to the miseries. The site is also responsible for being a mosquito breeding site here that also stinks. Swachhta mission stakeholders should take a note of the issue. I request the authorities to visit here and know the problem that people are facing here.

Encroachment menace

Encroachments are everywhere in the city. The administration must act against the violators.

An owner of a banquet hall has permanently erected a welcome gate on the main road that leads to the bus stand. In addition to it, a horse buggy, used in marriage processions, is blocking almost half of the road.

Sewage problem in Karnal

A sewage line near House no. 862, Sector 6, shows the apathy of the authorities as the line is full of soil and mud. It is blocked for the past several days even after raising the issue with the authorities. Besides, the cleanliness on road is not being done properly. I request the authorities to take a note on it.
