The Gurugram traffic police have issued 753 challans over the past 10 months to violators who created disturbances and disrupted commuters by emitting blast-like sounds from their motorcycles, commonly known as ‘Bullet bikes’. The total fines imposed amount to Rs 75.3 lakh.

“The aim of the Gurugram traffic police is to prevent road accidents and make the roads safer. Some motorcyclists also disturb others by creating blast-like noises with their bikes,” said DCP Traffic Virender Vij.
