Dubai: The ICC on Tuesday approved replacements for players displaying Covid-19 symptoms in the Test cricket, banned the use of saliva and re-introduced non-neutral umpires for bilateral series as part of its interim playing regulations to tackle the threat posed by the pandemic. In the five new regulations, recommended by the Anil Kumble-chaired committee, the teams will also be allowed an additional DRS call as home umpires will now be officiating in bilateral Test series. The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
