Vivek Chandel, state Director of Technical Education, honoured the class-IV women employees of the directorate at Sundernagar, Mandi district, today.

To mark International Women’s Day, a programme was held to honour the employees. The celebrations were held in 136 ITIs, 15 polytechnic, four pharmacy and five engineering colleges. The Director said it was the first time that the event was held at a large scale across the state. The contribution of women to the development of the country and the state was tremendous. — TNS
