Expose BJP to help Congress win polls: Haryana ex-CM Bhupinder Hooda
Gurugram, February 5
Former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda today called upon Congress workers to “expose” the BJP among voters to help the party win forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
These elections were acid test and voters needed to be reminded what Haryana was during Congress rule and what it has become today, he said while addressing a party workers meet in Gurugram. “Go to them (voters) tell them not just what we did and what we plan to do, but also what they lost,” said Hooda said.
Claiming that the state’s economy was at its peak during the Congress rule, Hooda accused the BJP-JJP government of putting state in reverse gear. “Haryana, which was number one in every parameter of development till 2014, has become number one in unemployment, corruption, crime, drugs and inflation…,” the leader of opposition said.
