IIIT-Delhi announces the opening of PhD Regular admissions
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is inviting applications for the Ph.D. admissions for Monsoon Session, AY 2021-2022. The goal of the Ph.D. programme at IIIT-Delhi is to empower students to become part of the global research ecosystem, and contribute to research organisations and top-class universities across the world.
IIIT Delhi offers Ph.D in Computational Biology (CB), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Human-Centered Design (HCD), Mathematics (Maths), and Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).
Admissions are open in the allied research areas of the following disciplines
Computational Biology
Computer Science and Engineering
Electronics and Communications Engineering
Mathematics
Social Sciences and Humanities (Economics)
Social Sciences and Humanities (Sociology/ Anthropology)
Human-Centered Design
Financial assistance: IIIT-Delhi also provides financial support to the PhD scholars, students joining the Ph.D. programme as regular students will be considered for Institute Fellowship. Presently institute is offering fellowship at the rate of Rs 31,000 per month in the 1st & 2nd year and Rs 35,000 per month in 3rd & 4th year. For 5th year, fellowship is at the reduced rate that is Rs 30,000 per month.
Additional Financial Support: Support up to Rs 50,000 is provided towards purchase of laptop/ desktop.
Contingency grant of Rs10,000 per annum.
Institute Travel Grant
Full time Ph.D. students are encouraged to present their research work at International Conferences. Financial support of up to Rs 2 lakh for the entire duration of the program is available.
Overseas Research Fellowship (ORF)
Support up to US $6,000 may be considered in deserving cases to conduct research collaborations with reputed Universities/Labs abroad for a period of 3 to 6 months

Registration for LSAT—India 2021 March session ends on March 14
Registration for the March 25, 2021 administration of the Law School Admission Council’s (LSAC) LSAT—India 2021 exam will be remain open until March 14, 2021. Candidates who are yet to register for the LSAT— India exam can do so online by visiting discoverlaw.in/register-for-the-test. After the closure of this registration, test takers will receive instructions on how to take the online, remotely proctored exam to ensure a seamless experience.
For students who wish to take the LSAT—India before the CBSE board exams, LSAT—India had announced an administration date of March 25, 2021. Aspirants who choose this option can take the test in March and can use these scores for their law college application. Aspirants can also re-test in June administration of LSAT—India, which will take place during the week of June 14, and have their best score reported for their preferred college for admissions. The registration for the June administration will close on June 4, 2021.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the LSAT—India will be administered through an online test delivery system utilising artificial intelligence-assisted remote proctoring to ensure the integrity and validity of the test.
