ZS Mohali take lead of 198 runs against Grand Square 11

Vishwa Pratap Singh of ZS Mohali led his team to a running start by scoring 135 runs off 178 balls in a match with Grant Square 11 here today. The Mohali team managed to push its score up to 389 in 106.5 overs and restricted Grand Square 11 to 191 runs during their first innings of the First Hans Saggi Memorial Men’s Day Tournament by the end of the second day.
The Mohali team won the toss and chose to bat. Vishwa Pratap Singh hit four sixes and 14 fours. He was joined by Akashdeep Singh, who scored 68 runs off 158 balls, including nine fours. The two also had a partnership of 138 runs. Kartik Sharma of the team scored 47 runs off 74 balls and Inderpreet scored 35 off 47 balls.
For the Grand Square 11, Sahib Bling scored 51 runs off 100 balls, including nine fours, while Sambhav Puri and Emanjot Singh scored 41 and 39 runs, respectively. The team made 191 runs as its remaining players scored marginally.
Meanwhile, Emanjot of the Grand Square managed to take five wickets in 33 overs while giving away 98 runs. Yash and Sahib got two wickets each while another was taken by Sanbir.
For the ZS Mohali team, Harry Dhaliwal and Vishwa Pratap managed to get three wickets each.
The ZS Mohali led by 198 runs by the end of first innings on the second day of the three-day match.
