Two unidentified miscreants robbed a 19-year-old youth of his scooter and mobile phone at gunpoint in Maloya. The victim, Lovekush, a resident of Maloya village, was on his way home when the suspects targeted him near the local cremation ground.

One of the assailants took his phone and held a pistol at his back, forcing him to give them his scooter.

The police were informed about the incident following which a case was registered at the Maloya police station and a probe was initiated.
