Yogi Adityanath slams Congress, asks people to hold Rahul Gandhi accountable
Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticised Rahul Gandhi’s slogan as empty promises. Addressing a gathering in Kalayat, Yogi appealed to the people to question Rahul Gandhi and the Congress about their unfulfilled promises, asking “where is their ‘khata-khat, khata-khat’”.
Yogi accused the Congress of dividing the nation based on caste, region, language, and religion, weakening the country and Sanatan Dharma. He emphasised that only BJP can ensure a prosperous and secure future for India.
Recalling a 14-year-old incident, Yogi mentioned the burning alive of a Dalit girl and her father in Mirchpur during the Congress rule. He linked this tragedy to the party’s negligence, highlighting BJP’s commitment to safety and justice.
Yogi also highlighted the success of the annual Kanwar Yatra under the BJP rule, stating that millions travel smoothly to Uttar Pradesh for the pilgrimage. “I shower flowers on the pilgrims, something the Congress, INLD, and AAP cannot do,” he added.
Yogi expressed confidence in BJP’s governance model, ensuring Haryana’s development under the double-engine government. He also hinted at future successes, predicting a BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir.
