An NGO, ‘Mother Mary Home Society’, organised its 100th free medical camp at New World Public School here on Tuesday.

The camp was held under the supervision of the national awardee surgeon and philanthropist, Dr Anil Aggarwal. As many as 253 patients were examined during the camp free of cost.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Aggarwal said not only medical tests were being conducted totally free of cost, but free medicines and spectacles were also provided to all patients. He thanked all doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff members for being part of the success of the camp. He said his society had so far helped more than 35,000 patients in the last 100 camps organised in far-flung areas of the district.
