The state government observed World Zoonoses Day under the chairmanship of Animal Husbandry Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian at a school in Muktsar today.

“Animal husbandry can prove to be a major alternative for farmers to increase their income. If animal husbandry is done with necessary precautions, the spread of zoonotic diseases can be prevented and the risk of such diseases can be reduced,” said Khuddian.
