Former minister Bikram Thakur, while addressing a BJP workshop, emphasised the importance of spreading awareness about BJP's policies and initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. Thakur highlighted that around one lakh people joined the BJP in the district, attributing this success to the trust the party has built among citizens both at the state and national levels.

Thakur also discussed the upcoming organisational elections, stating they would begin at the booth level in all district blocks on November 30, aiming to strengthen the BJP's grassroots structure. He noted that following these booth-level elections, district and state elections would be conducted. According to him, BJP's democratic approach to electing office bearers has made it unique, boasting the largest membership in the world.

District president Deshraj Sharma confirmed that preparations for the booth-level elections would be completed soon to ensure fair conduct.
