Women Congress volunteers help in polling booth activities

Polling booth number 55 located at Chhotu Ram Stadium in Rohtak city was different from other booths. It was full of women volunteers from the Congress party. They were not only preparing slips for electors to cast their votes outside the booth, but discharging the duty of an agent too inside the booth. Interestingly, some of them were also seen making phone calls to electors requesting them to exercise their right to franchise.

“Our group of women came here early in the morning to perform poll-related duty. Initially, we managed the tables outside the booths and distributed the responsibility,” said Mukesh Sheoran, block president, women wing of Congress party.
