Four persons, including three women, have been booked for allegedly assaulting a woman over rent dues. The complainant, Nisha of Sector 19, alleged that on March 29 this year, she was tied to an electricity pole and assaulted for two hours. She also alleged that her seven-year-old son was kicked in the stomach when he rushed towards her. She added that on August 8, her landlord and his family members forcefully started throwing her belongings and assaulted her again.

A case was registered against Ashish Gupta, Anita Gupta, Renu Gupta and Pushpa Sahni under various sections.
