Woman kills husband; three arrested in Sirsa
A joint police team from the CIA, Sirsa, and the Ding police station has solved the blind murder case of Chhindar Singh, a resident of Narel Khera village, whose body was found in Mojukhera village on the night of November 24. The police have arrested three persons, including Chhindar Singh's wife Gagandeep Kaur, and two others.
DSP Vikas Krishna said Gagandeep reportedly had an affair with a man named Suraj. The two believed that Chhindar was an hurdle for their relationship. Gagandeep conspired with Suraj and another man, Ranbir Singh, to kill her husband, he said.
After gathering key clues, the police arrested Gagandeep, Suraj and Ranbir. The suspects have been remanded in police custody, where they will be questioned about the murder, and efforts are underway to recover the weapon used in the crime. Two additional suspects have been identified and efforts are on to nab them.
The case was initially reported by Chhindar Singh's brother Gurdeep Singh, who filed a murder complaint at the Ding police station, prompting the investigation. The police revealed that the accused lured Chhindar Singh to fields in Mojukhera, where they strangled him and left his body on the roadside. Initially, the police received a report of a body found on the road, but after a thorough investigation, it was confirmed to be a murder.
