The Shimla Winter Carnival is set to be a grand affair this year, as the Municipal Corporation has decided to extend the carnival from one week to 10 days.

Recently, Mayor Surender Chauhan held a discussion regarding the same with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at a meeting to which the latter reportedly gave his nod.

Chauhan said an official meeting would be held with the officials and departments concerned in the coming days. “During the meeting, the roadmap for this year’s carnival will be formulated,” he said.
