Will move forward with honesty, says Dhanda

Cabinet minister Mahipal Dhanda got a rousing welcome by people today as he reached his residence after taking oath as a minister in Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s government.

People gathered at the Eldeco gate and welcomed Dhanda by showering flower petals on him and offering garlands to him. The supporters, who had gathered in large numbers, danced on dhol beats and reached his residence.

While addressing the gathering, Dhanda said, "There is nothing bigger than honesty and if you people also want to start some work with honesty, then I will help you all in every possible way."

“We will move forward honestly, taking everything along with us. As the position increases, the responsibilities also increase and some difficulties come along with it. To deal with these problems, I need the support of you all,” said Dhanda.

“Your brother will work with honesty for you all so that you never feel embarrassed about chosing a wrong person,” he said.

Dhanda requested the people not to expect that he would do anything wrong for them.

He said that the people in the constituency had elected him on the basis of development works done and there would be no shortage of projects in the future too. He was also welcomed at the Sector 6 chowk in Karnal, Gharaunda toll tax.

Notably, Dhanda has been elected MLA from Panipat Rural constituency for the third consecutive term. He defeated Congress candidate Sachin Kundu with a margin of 50,208 votes.
