Shopkeepers had hired labourers who cut the tree and ferried it away in a tractor-trailer. Many other trees at different locations have also been illegally cut down. The administration must look into the matter and ensure that strict action is taken in this regard.

Sewerage in Rohtak on verge of collapse

The sewerage of Rohtak city is on the verge of collapse, due to which residents are facing grave inconvenience. The overflowing sewage often gives out unbearable stench. The authorities concerned must take note of the problem and ensure the treatment of sewage on priority.
