What our readers say: Trees being illegally cut down
A100-year-old peepal tree, which was blocking the frontage of some local showrooms, was recently cut down in Narwana. Shopkeepers had hired labourers who cut the tree and ferried it away in a tractor-trailer. Many other trees at different locations have also been illegally cut down. The administration must look into the matter and ensure that strict action is taken in this regard.
