Complaints regarding clogged sewers and sewage overflow have become common in Faridabad. The situation gets worse during the monsoon season, with residents being at the receiving end due to the filthy civic conditions in the city. Despite the MC’s claims of having spent huge amount of funds on the city’s development, several areas are reeling under insanitary conditions. Devinder Surjewala, Faridabad
Restore potable water supply to G’gram sector
Residents of Sector 57, Gurugram, have been facing a disruption in their potable water supply for the past few days due to a malfunction in the submersible water pump, which has halted the water-lifting process. As a result, the water tank has run dry. The authorities concerned from the GMDA and the MC are urged to ensure that the pump is repaired and supply of potable water restored on priority. Roshan Lal Yadav, Gurugram
