The power corporation has installed new poles in the Auto Market, but some of these poles were placed directly over the waste water line, which is connected to the sewerage system and has large, open holes. The set-up creates a risk for accidents. The power corporation did not bother to fill these holes with soil after setting up the poles. Even if there is rain and water fills these holes, there is a high chance that the poles might fall, posing a serious threat to lives and property. Local shopkeepers have repeatedly requested the authorities to address the issue, but their concerns are being ignored, leaving the community at risk. Pradeep Kumar, Auto market, Sirsa
