What our readers say: Newly constructed road poses risk to commuters
Aconcrete road built a few days back on one side of the Mughal Canal market has raised safety concerns due to a hazardous gap left along the road. A foot wide trench along the road poses a risk to bikers and pedestrians during heavy traffic. Immediate action is needed to address the issue and ensure that the road meets safety standards,
to prevent potential accidents in the future. The construction agency should address the issue.

Misuse of police siren, hooters
police siren and hooters are being misused on the national highway. Private vehicles can be seen plying at a high speed while using sirens. The police department should initiate a special drive to check the misuse of sirens and also take action against the people selling these in markets.

Simian scare in Rohtak
rohtak seems to have turned into a kingdom of monkeys. Large troops of simians can be seen roaming about in the city. They enter houses freely and fearlessly, take away eatables and damage household articles. The local municipal administration has completely failed to tackle the menace. The state authorities should take some effective action.
