What our readers say: Need to install traffic lights
There is no traffic light near ESI Hospital on Yamunanagar-Jagadhri road that leads to Tejli village, Tejli Stadium and Chhoti Line. It is one of the busiest roads in the twin cities of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri. The absence of traffic lights obstructs the smooth flow of vehicular traffic, leading to accidents many a time. The local administration must look into the matter to ensure that the problem is resolved at the earliest.

Stray dog menace on the rise
The stray dog menace is on the rise in Panipat, with packs of canines roaming on roads in the city. Many a time, these dogs attack pedestrians, with children and senior citizens being the soft targets. Municipal Corporation officials must take note of the matter and provide a solution at the earliest.

Vendors causing nuisance near Nehru Park
The area outside Nehru Park has become a hub of vendors, who illegally install their rehris to sell items. Their customers park their vehicles on the road, which causes huge inconvenience to the those crossing the path. The Municipal Corporation and traffic police should pay attention to the problem on priority.
