Chief Minister Atishi’s initiative to deploy 99 teams to monitor construction sites is a commendable step towards controlling dust pollution. Construction activities are a significant source of air quality degradation in the city, and proactive measures are essential to safeguard public health. It is crucial that these teams are well-equipped and empowered to enforce regulations effectively. Additionally, regular updates on their progress will help maintain public awareness and accountability. Collaborative efforts between the government and citizens can enhance these initiatives.

Provide proper parking near market areas

In parts of Old Gurugram, cars are often parked haphazardly in narrow streets near markets. Shopkeepers and their staff occupy most of the available spaces, leaving little room for customers. As a result, shoppers are forced to park their cars wherever they can, often blocking entire stretches of the road without concern for the disruption. The administration should provide adequate parking facilities near the markets to ensure smoother shopping experiences.
