Many roads in Part-II of Sector-17, Jagadhri, are in a poor condition. Locals have often complained about pothole-ridden roads causing inconvenience to commuters as they find it difficult to drive through the rough patches. Besides, it is a major threat to their lives as it poses a risk of accidents. The local administration should get these repaired at the earliest.

Students sit on floor in winters at narwana school

During a visit to my ancestral village, Amargarh, it was shocking to see students at Government Primary School sitting on the floor in the classrooms in the absence of dual desks. It becomes really uncomfortable to sit on the floor for hours when the winter season has already begun. The Education Department should arrange sufficient dual desks on priority for the students’ convenience.

Monkey menace on rise

The monkey menace has become a big nuisance for residents of Pratap Nagar in Yamunanagar district. Troops of monkeys can be seen roaming freely in the town, attacking residents and passersby. The administration must step in to ensure that the problem is resolved at the earliest.
