What our readers say: Internal roads in poor state
The internal roads in Sonepat town are in a poor condition due to which people have to face a lot of problems while commuting. The Old DC Road near the entry of the main market is full of potholes. The authorities concerned should maintain the roads properly.

Stray cattle pose threat
HERDS of stray animals roam freely on NH-44 and internal roads of the 'Textile City'. These animals sometimes suddenly appear on the road, making commuters, especially those riding two-wheelers, lose control of their vehicles. This often leads to accidents. The stray animal menace is rampant on Assandh Road, Jatal Road, Gohana Road and the NH-44, besides internal roads and outskirts of the city.
