POOR cleanliness system and improper lifting of garbage has become a cause for concern among the city residents. The municipal corporation (MC) is spending crores of rupees on sanitation in the city, but heaps of garbage have become a common sight at various places in the city. Haphazard parking irks residents

RESIDENTS re a harried lot due to haphazard vehicle parking on the roads in city’s main markets. As no assigned parking lot has been created around crowded markets, residents park their vehicles on the roads which leads to traffic congestion and mishaps. Already encroached by shopkeepers, the roads gets further congested due to the haphazard parking. The authorities concerned should create parking lots in the city to resolve the issue.
