What our readers say: Erratic water supply at Bhuntar school
Children studying in Government High School, Piplage, in Bhuntar subdivision are facing problems due to the erratic supply of drinking water. It is becoming difficult to arrange water for even the mid-day meal scheme. The employees appointed by the Jal Shakti Department are not releasing water for the school on time. Following complaints, the Jal Shakti Department provides a temporary fix for a couple of days, but the same chaos starts again in a few days. Around 190 school students have to cross the road to reach another tap installed by a villager, which poses risk to the students’ safety. The department should address this problem as soon as possible. Prem, Piplage, Bhuntar
