Restore train service from Baijnath-Paprola to Kangra

Now that the monsoons are receding, the Kangra Valley train service from Baijnath-Paprola to Kangra should be resumed. This would greatly benefit students commuting to Rajiv Gandhi College, Nagrota; and patients travelling to Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College and Hospital, Tanda, as well as the ayurvedic hospital in Paprola. The train service would also be useful to devotees visiting Chamunda Temple, Kangra Temple and Baijnath Temple.

Stray dog menace on the rise in Solan

The number of stray dogs in Solan has increased. This has left area residents concerned for their safety. Packs of stray dogs can easily be spotted in the area. Many a time, these dogs attack pedestrians. This has made it very difficult for people, especially children and senior citizens, to walk in the streets of the town. The municipal corporation should take prompt action in this matter.
