The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday shared images of Chief Minister Atishi working from her residence in Kalkaji, surrounded by a pile of cartons. AAP had accused the Raj Nivas of forcibly evicting CM Atishi from 6, Flagstaff Road, where she had moved two days ago.

The CM said that the BJP was using such tactics because it was not able to make their CM, therefore, they were now trying to seize the CM residence. “AAP Ministers and MLAs did not enter politics for big cars and houses but to work for the people of Delhi. If it is necessary, we will even work while sitting on roads. We are happy to give away all these bungalows to the BJP, we live in the hearts of people of Delhi,” the CM said.

“The BJP is upset because they are not able to defeat AAP in elections; they fight and they lose. They are not able to cross single digit in the Assembly and when they were not able to form the government, they began ‘Operation Lotus’, which also faltered,” she added.

The Opposition parties coined the term ‘Operation Lotus’ over allegations of BJP poaching opposition MLAs and workers by offering bribes to form their government in states.

“Then they began to put AAP leaders in jail which also did not work. Now that they still don’t have a CM they are looking to grab the CM residence,” she continued.
