Wall along Khara Danda caves in
The retaining wall recently constructed along the Khara Danda road in McLeodganj has caved in. This is dangerous for commuters as it can block the vital road link to McLeodganj. It can also threaten the life and property of people staying in the surrounding areas. The government spent a huge amount on the construction of this wall, but it could not withstand even the first monsoon. The government should order an inquiry to check the quality of material used in the construction of the retaining wall.
