Vivek High School log twin win at basketball meet

Vivek High School, Mohali, logged back-to-back wins in the boys’ U-14 category during the ongoing 10th Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy, at the Sector 78 Sports Complex.

In the first match, the Mohali outfit defeated Amity International School 26-18. Ansh Rawat and Japsidak each contributed six points to the winning side, while Bismeet added 14 points for the Amity squad.

In their second clash, the Mohali team triumphed over St Peter’s School with a commanding 50-18 victory. Japjit led the charge with a 20-point contribution for the winning side. Vivek High School, Sector 38, recorded a 18-12 win over Saupin’s School, Sector 32, as Ronak topped the score chart by contributing eight points. Madhav scored four points for Saupin’s School.

In the girls’ U-14 category, Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, defeated Learning Paths School, Mohali, 37-15. Avantika played a pivotal role in the winning team’s success by scoring an impressive 19 points.

Vivek High, Mohali, eves defeated Smart Wonders School 33-4. With 13 points, Navna from the winning team remained the top scorer. The boys’ U-12 team of Shemrock School, Mohali, defeated Manav Rachna School, Mohali, 15-12 as Karman scored seven points. Dev Aditya led for Manav Rachna score chart with five points.

Police Public School, Sector 48, recorded a 25-11 win over Learning Paths. Gurjot scripted the team’s win with a 13-point contribution, while Karanveer scored nine for the Mohali team. Yadavindra Public School sealed an 18-6 win over St Anne’s School, Sector 32, as Digvijay scored eight points.

In the boys’ U-17 event, Saupin’s School overpowered KV High Ground School 57-21 as Abhijeet Singh contributed 15 points. Jastej added 19 points in the KV High Ground School tally.
