PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Monday threatened to file a defamation case against Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut, who claimed that “Himachal Government was taking loan and giving it to Sonia Gandhi”.

“We will file a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut if she doesn’t provide a documentary proof to support her claim or seek an apology from Sonia Gandhi,” he said.

Vikramaditya said it was the most idiotic statement,  which shows her ‘intellectual bankruptcy’. “She is not much educated and this reflects in her statements time and again,” he said.

The minister said the BJP should take cognizance of her statements. “The BJP has already cautioned her not to issue a statement on sensitive issues. However, she  hasn’t paid heed to the advice of the party high command,” he said.
