Vij unwinds with Rafi’s song

Former Home Minister and BJP Ambala Cantonment candidate Anil Vij was seen in a relaxed and happy mood on Sunday.

Vij spent his morning singing Mohammed Rafi’s famous song ‘Main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya, Har fikr ko dhuain mein udaata chala gaya’.

Speaking to the media, Anil Vij said, “The election is democracy’s biggest festival. It should be celebrated as a festival. We did entertainment during the election campaign the way it is done during festivals of Holi and Diwali. Why take tension? And we are winning from here (Ambala Cantonment) with a big margin and all the workers are celebrating.”

On the other hand, Anil Vij’s opponent Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara who is reported to have given a tough fight to the former minister also held a meeting with her supporters in Ambala Cantonment and discussed the election. Chitra thanked voters of Ambala Cantonment for giving support to her in this election.
